" alt="Alt Text" />The Alexandria Monroe Township Historical Society Museum was started over 40 years ago in 1979. The museum now has 14 rooms filled with the history of Alexandria and Monroe Township. There are numerous collections of artifacts on display including Aladdin Lamps, Lippincott Glass, the Kelly Axe Company, Union Traction Co., Rockwool Insulation, Armscamp Speedway, 1800’s Natural Gas Boom, and Gaither Music (Bill and Gloria Gaither) memorabilia. The museum is open from April to December and hosts tours for groups. Open for the public Thursdays and Saturday or by appointment.
