    Rescue Truck Exhibit

    On Thursday, November 12th, a large piece of modern American history arrived at the National Military History Center. This massive “artifact” is Rescue Truck 4, an emergency vehicle used in the 9/11 Terrorist Attack in New York City 14 years ago.

    Rescue 4 is now owned by the Remembrance Rescue Project, a volunteer based organization that aims to educate children and adults of the events that occurred on September 11th, 2001. The organization purchased Rescue Truck 5 as well, which was also used in 9/11. These vehicles serve as a tangible backdrop to the events that are spoken about by volunteers of the Remembrance Rescue Project to audiences all over. To read more click
