    Christmas in Kokomo

There’s so much to see and do between now and Dec. 25 in Kokomo, Indiana, that we aren’t sure you’ll be able to squeeze it all in. But we know you’ll love trying!

That’s because in Kokomo we celebrate the Christmas season in spectacular fashion. We take the words “’Tis the Season” quite seriously.

Whether you’re looking for an elegant celebration or one bright enough you’ll need sunglasses, you’ll find it all here in our city nestled in east central Indiana.

    Christmas at the Seiberling Mansion

There isn’t a more elegant place to celebrate the season than the Seiberling Mansion, and its holiday celebration begins Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016. The Victorian mansion is a perfect setting for a stunning collection of holiday trees, wreaths and garlands, and more. On its opening evening, Santa arrives by carriage and there’s an official lighting ceremony. Holiday tours will continue through the end of December from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. During select December dates, you won’t want to miss candlelight tours of the beautifully decorated mansion and special evening hours.

A Million Lights at We Care Park

Though it hasn’t been proven, we think it’s entirely possible that you can see We Care Park from outer space. Yes, it’s that bright. It is more than 1 million lights, after all. It takes months for volunteers to get the park ready for the annual celebration of all things Christmas. There are wreaths, trees and even a giant teddy bear — and we mean giant. And it’s all for the benefit of people in need through one of the city’s largest charities. Open nightly starting at dusk.

    And much, much, more
