    Economy Auto Food Donation Challenge

    Economy Auto Sales believes that as a part of the community, it is our responsibility to help those in need. During the month of December, Economy Auto employees will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations for the local food pantry. Economy Auto Sales will match all donations up to a total of $1,000. Bring in your food donation, cash, or even loose change. Any support or donation large or small is both needed and appreciated.

    Economy Auto Sales will select two families (current Economy Auto Customers) that are having an especially hard time. Each of these families will receive a $500 Helping Hand Package including a $100 gas card, $100 Walmart card and $300 Economy Auto Credit, which can be used toward car payments and/or repair services.

    Annual Winterfest Celebration Kicks of the Holiday Season

    Santa, carriage rides, a special character, Christmas trees, parade, free movies, food, cookies and more.  These are just some of the words to describe Jay County’s annual Winterfest celebration.  Every year the Jay County Chamber of Commerce, along with several sponsoring member businesses, host the huge event to start the holiday season with a bang.  2010’s celebration was one of the best yet with a record number of Christmas trees on display, and 49 floats in the annual Parade of Lights.  Communities in Jay County, along with those close by, all come together for this yearly event to welcome the joy of the holiday seasons to all residential and visiting families in Jay County.

    Metamora Old Fashioned Christmas Walk

    Metamora Old Fashioned Christmas Walk, the prettiest time of the year in Indiana's Canal Town.  The village is decorated for the season with lights, lanterns and luminaries. Wandering musicians, story tellers, and Santa in his house.  Horse drawn buggy rides, seasonal foods and a variety of shops to wander through.
